Highlights from LeBron and Kevin Durant’s flag football game (Video)

I don’t think there are too many highlight reels from last night’s flag football game between LeBron James and Kevin Durant. What person in their right mind would sit through an over two-hour flag football game to cut together all the top plays for one highlight? ESPN has the best one I’ve seen, and it follows below.

LeBron’s team won, 70-63, scoring the go-ahead TD with 30 seconds left in the game and pushing my self-made handicap yesterday. No torn ACLs, no ruptured Achilles’ tendons, so Heat and Thunder management can rest easy. They did wear football pants complete with pads for a simple flag football game, which makes me feel embarrassed for them.

Of note, LeBron for one touchdown celebration re-enacted Stevie Johnson’s controversial TD celebration from last weekend that mocked Plaxico Burress shooting himself in the leg. Johnson came under fire for the move, so there was no point for LeBron to play copycat. Just another moment from LeBron’s ongoing reality show, “Bad Moments in PR History Hosted By LeBron James.”
